Realizing Interoperability between MBSE Domains in Aircraft System Development

چکیده

Establishing interoperability is an essential aspect of the often-pursued shift towards Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in, for example, aircraft development. If models are to be primary information carriers during development, applied methods enable interaction between engineering domains need modular, reusable, and scalable. Given long life cycles often large heterogeneous development organizations in industry, a piece overall solution could rely on open standards tools. In this paper, Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) System Structure Parameterization (SSP) exploited exchange data disciplines systems simulation geometry modeling. A method export from 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software (SW) CATIA SSP format developed presented. Analogously, FMI support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) tools OMSimulator, OpenModelica, Dymola utilized along with OMSimulator. The technology put into context by means integration M&S methodology vehicle system deployed at Saab Aeronautics. Finally, established demonstrated two different industrially relevant application examples addressing varying aspects complexity. goal research prototype demonstrate functionality, enabled standards, that improve MBSE implemented industry academia.

Modeling and Realizing Interoperability

Interoperability between enterprise applications requires an understanding of the obstacles to interoperability in order to provide methods for overcoming these obstacles. We address the problem from different angles: first, we investigate the benefit of multi-lingual ontologies to overcome language problems between users of an enterprise application. Second, we propose a method to integrate le...

Promoting Interoperability between Heterogeneous Policy Domains∗

With policy management gaining popularity as a means of providing flexible Web security, the number of policy languages being proposed is constantly increasing. We recognize the importance of policies for securing the Web and protecting user information and believe that the future will only bring more policy languages. We do not, however, believe that users should be forced to conform the descr...

Realizing Interoperability of E-Learning Repositories

On Realizing Planning Programs in Domains with Dead-End States

Agent planning programs are finite-state programs, possibly containing loops, whose atomic instructions consist of a guard, a maintenance goal, and an achievement goal, which act as precondition-invariance-postcondition assertions in program specification. The execution of such programs requires generating plans that meet the goals specified in the atomic instructions, while respecting the prog...
